Clients acknowledge the following before entering into a contract or membership or any relationship with the Mind Spa.
Reservations:
The Wave Mind Spa requests 24 hours advanced notice reservations to help create a positive
experience for the spa goer. We will accommodate same day reservations when able. However, if a client initiates a same day reservation or walk in, we cannot guarantee immediate availability due to the individual attention given.
Cancellation:
The Wave Mind Spa requires 24 hours' notice to cancel a spa reservation. Please arrive on time so that we can offer your full experience. If there is a client scheduled immediately after and you have arrived late, you have the option to reschedule for the same day based on availability at no charge, forfeit the session or use the time remaining. For example, if you have scheduled 2 separate sessions for 30 minutes each, and arrive 10 minutes late, we may be able to provide one 30-minute session and a different spa service for 15 minutes. However, we advise the client to be on time to get full use of their sessions. Any no show will be deducted from packages. No exceptions.
Prices:
We reserve the right to change single service prices at any time. However, if you have a membership for 6 months, we will honor that price. When renewal is available, the price may change,
Payment options:
Clients are able to pay for services via credit card, cash, or check. Proper identification is required. If a check is returned for insufficient funds, a $40 fee will be assessed.
Gift Certificates:
Gift Certificates are not refundable and are good for 6 months after purchase unless otherwise stated. SpaFinder gift certificates are to be limited to regular priced items.
Important Reminders for Health and Safety:
A hygienic and safe spa environment is our goal. Each client receives a disposable sheet every session. Goggles are offered with each package, membership or for purchase with individual sessions. If a member forgets their goggles, the spa goggles can be used after being cleaned with alcohol. Personal goggles are highly encouraged. The consent form is available on this site. When purchasing a spa service, the client is acknowledging the risks of use. The client agrees not holding the Wave Mind Spa responsible for any ill effects that could occur. By purchasing a service, the client is also acknowledging that they are aware of the potential contraindications and are not pregnant and are not at risk based on the known contraindications. All clients agree that they have had medical clearance from their doctor
to engage in spa services.
Our services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Our treatments are low risk, general wellness and fitness products and devices that others have found helpful for stated issues.
Clothing Requirements:
Due to hygiene issues we highly recommend that each spa client wears underwear. Although we provide privacy, we feel it is in everyone’s best interest that spa-goers wear underwear and a bra, as appropriate.
Right of Refusal:
If a client engages in improper behavior, we reserve the right to refuse service to the client.
We will not tolerate any disrespect to another individual in our establishment. We reserve the right to establish what we consider improper behavior or conduct. No sexual conduct in the spa.
Illness:
Although the photobiomodulation and PEMF services are known to promote healing, we ask that clients not enter the spa if they have a fever or any contagious illness.
Health conditions:
Please advise the staff of any health concerns you may have. We do our best to research the services and stay updated on any contraindications of use. By making an appointment, you agree to not hold the Wave Mind Spa, its owners, managers and staff responsible for any injuries that occur.
Machinery:
Clients agree not to adjust machines. Clients will ask staff for help if they need adjustments to settings. Changing settings could have a negative impact on your experience. If client feels uncomfortable, they are expected to stop the treatment. We will give client a credit toward a different treatment.
Pregnancy:
If you are pregnant, or may be pregnant, you agree not to engage in the services that are not designed for women who are expecting. You also agree to check with your medical provider prior to your appointment.
Loss or damage:
The Wave Mind Spa will not be responsible for any property left, lost, broken or stolen. Clients will remove large metal jewelry prior to entering the spa and secure it in a safe place. Client shall not put computers or phones near PEMF or photo biomodulation equipment. We suggest that clients leave these devices in a safe place or store on the opposite side of the room. PEMF rays can reach up to 15 inches and although it is unlikely that there would be any harm done, we recommend that due to the magnets, these machines stay at a minimum 25 inch distance.
Purchases:
Products such as lotions and devices are not refundable. Spa services may be exchanged if client feels uncomfortable prior to completing treatment.
Device Rental:
If a client rents a device for home or spa use, they agree that they are responsible for the machine. If the equipment is returned damaged or non-working, the client will be responsible to pay for the repair or pay for the device. If a client is required to pay for the device, the client may keep the device upon request.
